I bet a lot of you remember the days when someone in your community suffered a loss.
Unfortunately, On Friday, October 9, our world was shattered when we lost Chucky Joe or as many of you know him as Tuna. He courageously fought for his life for three weeks at St. Mary’s in Duluth. He passed surrounded by family. The family needs your community love and support.
A funeral will be held for Chuck Evancevich at 11 AM on Saturday, October 17, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Ely, MN. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks are required for the service and social distancing procedures will be followed. The family is also unable to have a gathering after the service, but a celebration of life is to be planned for July of 2021.
To everyone who has been extending kindness and support to our family during this extremely difficult time, thank you. We cannot possibly express how much it means to us..
Daddy, we love you so, so much. You were a devoted and loving husband, father, and friend. We were very blessed to have spent this precious time with you. You smiled and laughed with us all the way up to the end, we will miss that terribly. We will miss you. Forever and Always.
