Evan Russo Memorial Fund

After nearly a decade of fighting a debilitating disease, countless doctor appointments, and a complicated liver transplant last January, Evan Drew Russo lost his long battle with liver disease. The 23-year old Evan suffered through more medical issues in his short lifetime than any of us will ever know. Evan’s pain is finally gone, but for those of us who knew him, we know he is in a better place, no longer suffering.

Evan’s mother, Veronica Kelley, is a single mom raising Evan’s 4-year old brother Sam. Veronica’s courage and indomitable spirit in the face of such an incredibly difficult situation have been inspiring. She was Evan’s mom, friend, support system, confidant and inspiration to keep fighting. She juggled work, doctor visits, surgeries, childcare and so much more during Evan’s struggle while holding it all together to keep her home and an ever-positive attitude for her family.

Friends thought this page would be a simple way for those who care about the family to support Veronica’s continued efforts to always be there for her boys. We ask that you contribute what you can to help her cover years of Evan’s medical expenses, give her some relief and help her move forward.
