Evan & Maree - Williamstown Crash 29.2

Donation protected
On 29 February 2024, Maree and Evan Deverix were involved in a very unfortunate and horrific car crash at Williamstown.

Maree and Evan are mother (49 yr old) and son (19 yr old). They are at a tough point in their lives currently and are both trying to get back on their feet. Evan has been diligently searching for a job and attending a filmmaker's course to begin his career despite some very tough personal times.

Maree was on her way to a family member's house where Evan would live temporarily when they collided with a tree, a side-on crash with the impact on the passenger Evan's side.

Evan is currently fighting for his life at just 19 years old with significant head injuries.

These beautiful family members of ours do not deserve the tough times which lie ahead.

We as the family members have started this Gofundme as a way to help Evan on his long road to recovery after this tragedy. There are very tough times ahead, and we hope to ease the financial burden as Evan looks to recover, as this has already become a major concern. They will be needing finances for transport, basic necessities and recovery such as physiotherapy etc to support Evan’s recovery. Both Maree and Evan are well loved by family and friends, and we are hoping that everyone can pitch in to give them the helping hand that they need. If 1000 people can donate $10, we can make a huge difference.
