Evan and Franklin Hall
Update on 1/1/2020:
I officially beat Stage IV cancer! Thank you all for the love and support, I could not have done this without you! Happy New Year! Much love and respect! -Evan
Let me tell you about Evan Hall: the strongest person I know.
Evan loves his 4-year old son Franklin, skateboarding, and being with friends and family. He’s fiercely loyal, the kind of guy who’d give you the shirt off his back. Evan is a 36-year old single dad who was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer in April 2018. On May 2, 2018, doctors removed a tumor the size of a tennis ball from his colon. During surgery, the doctors realized that the cancer had spread to his liver.
Currently Evan is undergoing his sixth round of chemotherapy. The chemo will continue indefinitely, but will only be fully covered by his insurance until the end of December 2018.
Evan is a finish carpenter and project manager but is unable to work while undergoing chemo. On top of everyday living expenses, Evan’s medical bills continue to stack up. He’s on disability, but that money barely covers his insurance premium. Please donate to help him cover the costs of his rent, health insurance, daycare for his son Franklin, and the hospital fees that insurance won’t cover.
Evan is naturally thin and wiry. He might not look like he’s going to win a bodybuilding competition, but you wouldn’t want to challenge him to an arm-wrestling contest. Evan has a strong mind. He’s incredibly determined. Once he sets his mind to something, you better believe it’s going to happen. He doesn’t even notice the everyday nuisances that bother you and me. Cancer isn’t strong enough to take on Evan...it doesn’t have a shot! But he needs our help to provide for his son Franklin and himself.
