Evacuate my family urgent from GAZA and building a new life

Before October 7 is not the same as after...

This is me, Amr Amer (32 years old). I graduated from the Islamic University in Gaza ten years ago. I didn't have much at the time. Getting a job in Gaza is difficult with the high unemployment rate. So I decided to start from scratch and worked hard to open my own project (a taxi office). I put a lot of effort into my project. I faced many difficulties, but I overcame them, and after much effort, I finally succeeded. But the Israeli occupation missile that strucks the office didn't consider ten years of effort. So, I lost my source of income, and along with it, I lost my most important dreams.

And this is my home, my warm home. In every room here, there is a story and a beautiful memory. I didn't even buy my daughters' room until a few days before the war. The girls were very happy with it. But the Israeli occupation missile that strucked the house didn't consider their happiness or memories of the house. I lost my home, and my family and I became homeless.

These are my beautiful daughters, Noha (6 years old) and Joud (3 years old). My two beautiful girls were blessed with a warm home, a beautiful family, a comfortable car, and most importantly, three meals a day. But reality was different after the war.

In late October, after my two daughters had gone to sleep, the house next to us was subjected to an Israeli bombing, which led to the martyrs flying into our house from the force of the missile. Noha was injured. I had to tell my daughter that these martyrs are statues and not real. To this day, she still wakes up at night to ask me, "Were they really statues, my dad?"

In mid-January, Joud suffered a severe illness due to contamination of water and food. I could not find any hospital or health center to treat her, not even medicine in the pharmacy. Joud cried a lot in pain that day.

The most difficult thing in this war is that my two daughters suffer from severe hunger as a result of the lack of food in the north. There is no flour or rice. So, we were forced to use animal feed as food to satisfy their hunger. We make poor-tasting bread with the feed. Noha cries a lot. She does not want to eat bread made from Animal’s feed...Then Noha cries more because of her intense hunger... so, she eat it... so I cry more for my spoiled daughter as she eats animal food.

And this is my car. I bought it and did not pay for it in cash. I bought it in installments. But the occupation, while destroying my car, did not take into account that I would continue to pay for it even after the destruction.

This is me, Amr Amer, and these are my two daughters. We lost our house, we lost the source of my income from which I used to live, and we lost our car. And here I see my family suffering from hunger and fear and not finding shelter. My two daughters were deprived of their right to food, their right to treatment, and their right to safety, without any fault we committed.
