EMERGENCY Evacuation for Mahmoud's family in Gaza

My name is Fatimah and I am raising funds for my friend’s family in Gaza. My friend, Mahmoud, resides in Türkiye on a scholarship however his entire family remains in Gaza.

The family is comprised of 2 men, 3 women, 2 elderly people over 60, and 3 children under 5:

His mother, Hayat Ashour (aged 60 years old);

father, Taysir Ashour (aged 60 years old);

sisters, Nermin Ashour (aged 31 years old) and Nooran Ashour (aged 28 years old);

brothers, Ragab Ashour (aged 34 years old) and Mohammed Ashour (aged 32 years old);

sister-in-law (aged 27 years old);

niece, Zina Ashour (aged 3 years old);

and nephews, Taysir Ashour (aged 5 years old) and Abdullah Ashour (aged 1 year old), all remain displaced in difficult circumstances in Gaza.

Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression, the family have had to relocate more than ten times. They are currently displaced with nowhere to go. All family residences have become uninhabitable due to the damage caused by air strikes and artillery. In addition, the occupation forces have ordered residents to evacuate and are executing anyone in sight - men, women, elderly and children alike.

We previously had a fundraiser for emergency relief. This was successful and the family received £1,500 to afford necessities, such as food and hygiene items, although the amount was incomparable to the need. The family are now wanting to evacuate but do not have the funds to do so.

This fundraiser is for the costs of evacuation via Rafah to Egypt. The cost is around £5,000 per head so the total cost for 10 people would be £50,000.

This is a family with hopes and dreams destroyed. We urge you to donate and/or share the link with family and friends so that the family can afford evacuation and rebuild their lives outside of their homeland.
