Life as we knew it changed on June 18, 2017. The vibrant 1 year old Jaxon Cole was admitted to TC Thompson after suffering a seizure. Tests revealed a tumor on his brain, something no parent ever wants to hear. Jaxon celebrated his 2nd birthday June 22 while still inpatient at TC Thompson. The following day he underwent brain surgery. He was diagnosed by Drs. with ATRT and would need to go to St Jude in Memphis to start receiving treatment. Chris, Megan, and Jax left their home, jobs, and family behind on July 4th and headed to St Jude. Jaxon has 2 siblings, Bryson (6 yrs) and Marleigh (6mths). Although St Jude thankfully will give Jaxon the best possible care free of charge, give Chris and Megan housing on campus, and meals while they spend the next several months there, nothing else is covered. Just like everyone else they have bills along with 2 other children to provide for. Chris and Megan could use our help to get them through this process.
