My spirit sister/best friend for over 22 years, Sarah Madden, is experiencing the fight of her life. On September 11, 2014 she was admitted to the hospital with late stage cancer. What was thought to be a slow growing tumor ended up spreading, and she also now has spontaneous tumor lysis syndrome. Her mother has gone on unpaid leave to be by her side during this fight for her life.
Anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting Sarah knows what a beautiful person she is. She is someone who always puts others first, who has never known a stranger, and has the sweetest, kindest soul.
