Ethan's Brain Tumor Fund

Ethan is our friend Jennifer’s oldest child, big brother to two sisters.  He is a witty and spirited 16 year old with a gentle heart. After some weeks of feeling ill and experiencing consistent headaches, Ethan was taken to the emergency room with the suspicion that he may have a concussion as a result of his latest wrestling match. It was discovered, however, that he has a mass in his brain. The neurosurgeon has recommended surgery to extract the tumor. Once this is done, they will know more about the need for further treatment, such as chemotherapy or radiation. Jennifer, Ethan, his sisters, and the rest of their family are maintaining hope that things will turn out ok but understandably are still fearful that this may be not the case.

Ethan's medical complication comes on the heels of Emily's (his 12 year old sister) struggle with her own medical issues. After months of painful and debilitating symptoms, Emily was finally diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis in October. Thankfully she is now stable, so Jennifer can focus on Ethan's needs. Needless to say, this momma and her children have been through a lot this year!

As the family continues to process Ethan's unfortunate and heartbreaking situation, we are asking for your help with the financial burden his family is now facing as a result of two major illnesses. If we, as a community who loves this family, can pull together to help them in their time of need, it would help them immensely.
