Ethan's stem cell transplant
Donation protected
In oct 2017 my son Ethan was diagnosed with a rare and severe genetic disorder called Mucopolysaccaridosis Type 1. His body does not produce an enzyme that breaks down sugar crystals. These crystals build up all over the body. The treatment is a bone marrow transplant. The transplant will happen at BC Childrens Hospital on Feb 5th. Ethan will get 9 days of chemotherapy to get rid of his own bone marrow and then he will receive donor stem cells. Our stay in the hospital will be a few months. We would appreciate any help.
