Ethan Bushey Medical and Recovery Fund

Ethan Bushey was in a tragic accident that has left him in critical care and on life support in a Calgary hospital. At this time, he is still in a coma however doctors have already started some of the many surgery's that will be required over the next months. Damage to his leg, foot, facial structure, brain, lungs, pelvis, spleen, ribs and vertebrae have left his prognosis uncertain.

Sadly, at this time, Ethan's future is still unknown. If he wakes from his coma, doctors estimate that he will remain in the hospital for at least 4-6 months. At that time they will also be able to better assess the long term effects of his injuries. The best-case scenario that can be provided at this time estimates that he will require at least 2 years of rehabilitation.

If you are able to assist Ethan and the family with expenses related to this tragic event, any amount will be appreciated. Prayers and well wishes are also graciously accepted.

For those of you that have not had the opportunity to meet Ethan Busey, he is a fun-loving, energetic and kind soul. He is known by his friends and acquaintances as friendly and outgoing. Like many Alberta kids, his youth was spent on the ice and his passion has now turned to the restoration of trucks. Since graduating in 2020, he has been working on completing his apprenticeship program.

Understandably Ethan's family has been devastated by this tragedy. His mom Kelly has been able to visit him however COVID restrictions are currently prohibiting the remainder of family and friends access.
