Well, that's it, folks. We completed the Chester Metric Marathon, which was 16.3 miles. We are so grateful to all those who have donated already. We have been overwhelmed with the amount raised so far and are planning to leave the funding page open for a further two weeks just in case there are any last-minute donations.

Hi, just another update, we have all now raised well over £3000 for our chosen charity, and to help try and raise some more, Dave and Louise have entered the Chester Metric Marathon. This event is on the 2nd of October, so there is not long to go now. So we would be very grateful if you would like to donate and help us raise a little more money for this worthy cause.

Hi all

As you know, we are very keen sportsmen (well, that's what we were telling each other ), so we have decided to run/stumble/walk the RAF Cosford 10k race for charity; our chosen charity is the Llanfair Caereinion Committee Cancer Research. We have all been touched in some way by this disease, and we wanted to play our part in raising as much money as we can for this worthy cause, any support you can give us would be very much appreciated, and if you want to come and cheer us on the date of the race is 28th August 2022 at RAF Cosford.
