Don protégé
Hi, I'm Henry, fundraising for a trip to eSwatini.
Next July, aged 14 I will be heading with my school on an exhibition to eSwatini which is tucked between South Africa and Mozambique.
This trip is an opportunity of a life time and I will be way off the tourist radar. It’s a landlocked nation of tribal culture, lush wilderness, and the last reigning monarch in Africa. I will be entering a world where traditional crafts and tribal dancing are part of daily life. I have to raise all my own money. I need to raise £4,000.
I will be packing my bag, lacing up my boots and embracing the unknown. I will be camping for the entire trip, 8000 miles from the comfort of my own home. I will have the rare chance to explore one of the last habitats of its kind. I will be tackling new challenges each day working with local schools and orphanages.
In order to raise funds to be part of this community project I am planning on climbing two mountains this summer. I will be climbing Snowdon a 14.5 km trek. It is 3,560 feet making it the highest peak in Wales and England. The second climb will be Ben Nevis. A 16km climb, the highest mountain in Britain which has a height of 1,345 meters (4,413 feet).
Do you think you can support me to raise funds? I hope so!
