Therapy Dog for Izzy

Recently it was suggested to us that we should look into the possibility of getting a therapy dog for Izzy to help with a variety of emotional problems that she has including overstimulation and anxiety in social situations or intense fears at bedtime.
These dogs are trained to notice the signs of stress and/or anxiety and help her center herself. The dog will also be trained to sleep with Izzy at night to help her with the nightmares.
We have found a German Sherperd here in Kansas City that will cost around $1,200 and the perfect trainer! To get the training started it will cost an additional $600. I'm so thankful we were able to find a dog and a trainer in Kansas City. That drastically reduces the cost associated with a therapy dog!
Our goal is to raise $1,800 in order to purchase aand train a therapy dog for Miss Iz and would greatly appreciate any amount that you could help out with!
