Establish Ground Zero Church

Hey everyone I am Tyler and this is my beautiful wife named Emily and our amazing and handsome son Charley. We are called to plant a church here in Springville, Alabama called Ground Zero. I was called to be a pastor a little over a year ago and have been preaching off and on since but God has called us to start our own church and we need your help! 

The funds would go directly to the planting, development and establishment of a non-denominational church. It is certainly not cheap but we believe we can get it off the ground! (get it?) The goal is to be  established as a 501c3 church by mid to late march and be worshiping in a building by June. 

We chose nondenominational because it is multi-denominational. What I mean by that is that we are open to having any denomination and it means that we are able to help more people. Minor differences in theology and denominational preferences are leading people to staying at a church they do not enjoy or they simply don't go. We are nondenominational because we want everyone to feel welcomed and at Ground Zero we believe that all followers of Christ (those that believe in the basics of true Christianity: the trinity, Jesus crucified and risen and the Bible being without error) all have a home here. We are trying to be able to help everyone who is hurting and we want to be able to reach more of the lost!

Our logo is mountains this is symbolic of Moses going up the mountain and speaking directly with God but back then it was a special moment. Now, thanks to Jesus, we are able to go up the mountain ourselves but we either do not or it is because so many of us are afraid to go or simply do not know where to begin. We plan to be able to help those up the mountain to be able to have a personal relationship with Christ.
