To provide a long term home for Jewish activities and celebrations for Abayudaya university students and young adults living in Kampala and all Jewish families staying in the capital who wish to have a well organized services in Uganda.

During the years that Abayudaya youth live with their families, they participate in Shabbat and holiday celebrations, as well as Torah study, with their families and community.   In order to address this period of isolation from Judaism during the years at university, MAROM Uganda was established in Kampala in 2010.
