Hola, mi nombre es Elsy Milena Perez Mora. Tengo 34 anos de edad y soy madre soltera de 3 hijos varones de 6, 8, y 13 anos de edad. El Julio del 2018, fui diagnostica con un Adenocarnima Ductal Infiltrante HER+++. Esto fue una terrible noticia para mi y todos a mi alrededor. Fue dificil aceptar mi nueva realidad, pero despues de pruebas y consultas, me encomende a Dios y fui sometida a un estricto tratamento mediante la administracion de 8 sesiones de quimoterapia durante 6 meses y luego 16 sesiones de radioterapia durante 4 semanas.
Gracias a Dios tuve una recuperation satisfactoria a tal punto que todas las pruebas y examenes de laboratorio daban como resultado la segura desaparicion de esta terrible enfermedad que invadio mi cuerpo. Intempestivamente, el entusiasmo y alegria ante una nueva oportunidad de vida se ve interrumpido nuevamente. Despues de un año y 3 meses, el pasado mes de Septiembre, presente una recaida en los glanglios supraclaviculares compatible con Neoplasia Epitelial Maligna Metastasica. Esto fue una tremenda commocion para mi, mi familia y todos los acercanos a mi. A pesar de ello, yo tengo la esperanza y la Fe de superar otra vez mas esta desdicha y lo hago con todas mis fuerzas y con la voluntad de Dios por mis hijos y por mi familia que siempre han estado a mi lado ayudandome con lo que yo necesite.
Para combatir este nuevo diagnostico requiero someterme a un tratamiendo de 12 sesiones de pertuzumab de 420mg, trastuzumad de 440mg y Docetaxel de 80mg. el cual es altamente costoso. He empezado esta campaña para pedirles que en sus oraciones a nuestro Dios Todo Poderoso pidan por mi sanacion y que finalmente pueda vencer este terrible mal; asi como tambien, para pedirles por ayuda monetaria en lo possible y sin ninguna obligacion. Desgraciadamente, el primer tratamiento consumio todos mis ahorros y los de mis padres. Sin embargo, con la voluntad de Dios nuevamente, y la ayudas de ustedes, tengo la Fe y esperanza que vencere y que podre seguir viviendo en este mundo para ver a mis niños crecer y poder estar a su lado por una larga vida! De antemano muchisimas gracias y que Dios multiplique sus donaciones y les bendiga siempre.

This was terrible news to receive and it was difficult to accept my new reality. After tests and consultations, I put my faith in God and strict treatment of eight chemotherapy sessions for six months and then 16 radiotherapy sessions for four weeks. Thank God, I recovered after this intense treatment and was cleared of the cancer.
Unfortunately, my enthusiasm and joy at a new chance at life has been interrupted. After one year and three months, this September, I presented a relapse in the supraclavicular lymph nodes compatible with Metastatic Malignant Epithelial Neoplasia. As you can imagine, this was devastating for myself and my family and friends to hear. Despite this, I have the hope and the Faith to overcome this challenge again. I do this with my strength and with the will of God…for my children and for my family, who have always been by my side, helping me with whatever I needed.
To combat this new diagnosis, I must undergo a highly expensive treatment. I have started this campaign to ask for prayers for my healing, so that I may finally overcome this for myself and my family. In addition, I ask for you to consider any monetary help you are able to offer. Unfortunately, the first treatment consumed all my savings and those of my parents. With the will of God, and your help, I have the Faith and hope that I will meet this challenge and overcome it. I want to live a long life and to be able to see my children grow up. Elsy empezó su primer tratamiento de quimioterapia ayer 10/06/20. Todo salió bien Gracias a Dios. Sin embargo, a la enfermera le tomo tiempo conseguir una vena que no este ya debilitada a causa de las quimioterapias administradas hace dos años. Con la ayuda de Dios y medica, se le va a instalar in ceteter instramuscular para evitar mas danos a las venas y crear otros efectos secundarios debido al tratamiento.

Hoy, Elsy se sometió a una cirugía para instalarse un catéter en la parte derecha del pecho el cual va conectado a la vena cava central. Esto servirá como conducto para el resto de su tratamiento de quimioterapia. Esto ayudara a que las venas no sufran el constante maltrato de los tratamientos ya que están bien débiles a causa del tratamiento anterior. Gracias a Dios, la instalación del catéter salió muy bien y Elsy presenta mínimo a nada de dolor o efectos secundarios actualmente. La Dr. también esta muy sorprendida ya que la primera quimioterapia ha empezado a hacer efecto notandose que la inflamación en el cuello ha bajado significativamente. Les pido que por favor mantengan a mi hermana en sus oraciones y plegarias a Dios para que no haya ninguna infección en el catéter por el resto del tratamiento ya que seria muy delicado y riesgoso. La siguiente session de quimo esta planeada para el proximo Martes. Muchas gracias a todos los que han donado and tomado su tiempo para orar por Elsy. Les agradecemos de todo corazón! - Eilyn -
Today, Elsy underwent surgery to install a port in the top right side of her chest which is connected to inferior cava vain. This port will be use for the rest of her chemotherapy treatment to help the veins from suffering more damage as her veins are already weak from the previous treatment. Praise God, the port was put in place successfully and Elsy has minimal to no pain or side effects currently. The Dr. is also very surprised as the first chemotherapy has started to take effect noting that the inflammation in the neck has decreased significantly. I would ask that you please keep my sister in your prayers that she will not get any infection in the port for the rest of the treatment as it would be very delicate and risky. The next chemo session is planned for next Tuesday. Thank you so much to everyone who has donated and taken the time to pray for Elsy. We thank you with all our hearts! - Eilyn -

Elsy completo la quimioterapia n. ° 3 el pasado martes. Elsy continua teniendo buen ánimo y optimismo hacia su tratamiento. El día de la quimioterapia no es tan difícil como los próximos. Después de unos días, Elsy comienza a sentir náuseas, fatiga y mucho dolor en el cuerpo en general. Estos síntomas duran unos días más y su cuerpo descansa hasta el día de la próxima quimioterapia. Elsy está tratando de comer lo más saludable que puede y continúa teniendo mucha fe en su tratamiento pero reconoce que su cura está en las mano de Dios. Les pido por favor, que continúen orando por Elsy, que sus síntomas y efectos secundarios sean mínimos y por médicos que la están ayudando durante esta terrible lucha.
This past Tuesday was chemotherapy #3 for Elsy. She continues to have good spirit and optimins towards her treatment. The day of the chemo is not as hard as the days ahead. After a few days, Elsy start getting feeling nausea, fatigued and restless overall. These symptoms last for a few more days and her body gets a rest until the next chemo. She is trying to eat as healthy as she can and continues to have faith and understand that healing is in God's hand. Please continue to pray for her, that her symptoms and side effect are minimal, and for the doctors that are helping her fight this terrible illness.
