Heart/Double Lung Transplant

I am a 42 yr old woman in desperate need of a double lung and heart transplant due to progressive pulmonary hypertension and a rare lung disease ,Congenital Emphesema. My lungs never fully developed from birth.I was The State Poster Child for the March of Dimes in 1973. I have been fighting this terrible disease my whole life but unfortunately in the last 7 yrs, my lung capacity has diminished from 19% to less than 10%. My Dr's have collaborated and determined that there is no way of my surviving w out having both a double lung and a heart transplant, as my lungs and heart are rapidly failing. I am the mother of a beautiful 14 yr old girl, Brooke, who is a freshman in high school this year. We are very close !! We have been told on several occasions, from many people that we have a very special, an unusual bond being she's a teenager and I've always had health issues. Instead of my daughter being disgruntled and angry she's optimistic and actually the reason I've decided to fight. With the odds against me, I was ready to accept that I would not be around to see her graduate high school, go off to college, move to HOLLYWOOD,California ( that's always been a dream of hers), get married or have children. However, with her tenacious, encouragement, I've decided I'm not ready to give up my battle with this horrendous disease. This is a very costly procedure and there are travel and lodging expenses involved even with getting put on the donor list; I am on Medicare so they only cover 85%, and I'm on a fixed income of less than $1,000.00 a month. I may not be able to proceed without help, Which is why I have created this account. Thats where the power of prayer and the generosity of others come into play, and it starts with you!!! Please consider donating any amount to help!! No amount is too small!! I also urge you to say a prayer, to ask your churches to start a prayer chain, etc. Without your prayers and generosity, I will lose this battle, this is a fact; Brooke will lose her mother, this is a fact; it would be a shame to lose my battle due to the lack of funds and prayers. Again, I urge you all to start a prayer chain, please ask everyone to pray, and share my link so others can pray and donate!! I need to go to Duke October 6th for a week for testing, screening, and to be officially put on the list, the waiting list for a double lung and heart transplant. This is just one of my constant reminder's, I'm doing this for her! I need to be here for another 50 years! I just thought I'd share with you the meaning of the cake shown below❤️I usually don't like pics with my tubing but there is one I love that is my favorite and that's the last pic with me in Sephora and if you know me I use to be a makeup artist until I got sick!
