Joy for Joey

Donation protected
Joe is a 31-year-old Army Ranger, injured two times during active combat. He has earned several medals and is a Purple Heart recipient. Even after his medical retirement from the U.S. Army, Joe continues to serve his country in various capacities. On September 4th at 9:30 AM, a non-profit called "Jump for Joy" hosted a skydiving demonstration at an elementary school in Utah. Their mission is to share a message with children about dreaming fearlessly and preparation for the future. The stunt Joe performed that day went awry, causing him to fall 30 feet to the ground. The accident left him with extensive and severe injuries. He suffered a shattered pelvis, broken femur, two broken vertebrae, several broken ribs, a collapsed lung, nerve damage, and needed several invasive surgeries. He will require future surgeries, extended hospital stay, and acute rehabilitation. Help us pay it forward to Joe. (Please see photos for additional information on Joe Metzger's service as an Army Ranger, his medals & awards, and his road to recovery).
