Erin’s Puppy Redemption

For Erin’s whole life, there’s nothing she has wanted more than a dog. This past week has been a roller coaster for her and Alex. She found an alleged corgi breeder and did a ton of research before committing to send this man any money. Though very skeptical, the transaction seemed legitimate enough for Erin to commit to sending a money transfer to someone in another city, who was to send the puppy to Calgary on a plane for Erin. In the end, he continued to come up with reasons that Erin needed to send more money. Very hesitant with every interaction she had with him, Erin ended up paying out $2600. After the “breeder” aka scam artist claimed that she needed to send another large sum of money. After coming to terms with the fact that there was no dog to come, her heart has been broken. The money is not what she’s most upset about, however I thought it would be a nice gesture if we could work together to pool some money and help her get a step closer to getting her own puppy.

Anyone who knows Erin well, knows how generous and caring she is. I know she will drop anything to help someone else out, whether you need a ride somewhere, to borrow some money, or just require a little positive encouragement when you’re feeling down. If you’ve got even $5 to spare, to help out one of our most selfless friends, it would mean the world if we could help this girl finally get the dog she deserves.
