Erinah's Continued Battle Against Breast Cancer

Donation protected
Erinah is a loving and compassionate mother of two amazing little humans Uwera and Rajon (3-year old daughter and 7-year old son). In 2017, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer that had spread to the bones, spleen and other organs. Through generous contributions from loved ones and well-wishers in a previous fundraising campaign, she was able to cover a portion of her medical fees and remain stable on medication for about 2 years and was hoping for a full recovery.

Fast-forward to 2020, against the backdrop of the current pandemic, Erinah received the heart-breaking news that the regimen she was on had stopped working, as is common with Metastatic Breast Cancer. The cancer has spread fast and infected 90% of her liver. She was hospitalized for 9 days with liver failure and has started on chemotherapy. In addition to this distressing diagnosis, she was laid off from her job last month and her health insurance was terminated.

However, not all hope is lost! Erinah is a fighter and still believes she'll live to celebrate several milestones including birthdays with her babies. Her relentless faith in God only strengthens this optimistic attitude.

A highly recommended clinic, Oasis of Hope, has been identified as a low-cost alternative. It provides an affordable healthcare plan with treatment options to prolong her life, and give her another shot at winning this battle. The medical costs for a 3-week treatment are about $45,000 including her travel expenses.

If you are able to help, please support our sister and dear friend, Erinah. Any contribution to meet the target amount will go a long way, and be greatly appreciated. Together, we will help see her through to a full recovery. Every penny and every prayer counts!

Erinah is 37..... Less than 5% of women under the age of 40 are diagnosed with breast cancer. Nobody is ever expecting it, and nobody is ever prepared to deal with it.  We believe she has a fighting chance, and so does she. Let's come together to give Erinah this time-sensitive and critical second chance! Please share her story with your family and friends, far and wide.
