One of our DCDC Red Bug families has suffered a fire in their home which has resulted in the loss of almost all they had.
Khadijah Morrison and her daughter Erin (Ms. Pam’s granddaughter and great-granddaughter) suffered a tragic fire which resulted in the deaths of two family members and the loss of almost all they had. Tremain, a 6-year-old cousin is in ICU and is recovering. Tremaine’s mother and cousin Michael, 9 years old, died in the fire.
Khadijah has secured temporary housing for a bit and will be working out logistics. Please join us in surrounding them with prayer and if possible help by providing donations to help them with a new start. As new housing plans form, we will have a better idea of their needs as far as furniture and household items. For now, we know they need clothes and gift cards for food and expenses.
