Veteran in Need - Erik Brooke James Fund

Approximately six hours after being discharged from the marines, while driving back home to return to civilian life, Erik was involved in a horrific car accident with his wife, Brooke, and eight month old son, James. Witnesses watched their car roll five times before stopping, landing on Brooke's legs. Brooke, who shielded the car seat with her body as the car rolled, suffered two fractured vertebrates, a spleen laceration, and crushing trauma. Her heroic quick thinking prevented James from being injured completely. Erik suffered a broken thumb, sprained arm, concussion, and facial lacerations. 

Th family has returned to michigan, however they are now left without a car and any personal belongings. They literally had a half full diaper bag, and the clothes they had on their back, which were cut off by paramedics, to come home with. Without medical insurance or income, which ended with Erik's active service in the Marines, the family would benefit from any help rebuilding their lives.

Any funds donated will be used for items for the baby....formula, diapers, clothing,  toys, ect.....clothing and basic essentials for Brooke and Erik, car replacement, and the ability for Erik to help his wife recover while she wears a neck brace for the next month, unable to work. The three of them are rehabilitating with family while they rebuild their health, their michigan residency, and the financial and physical stability to find their own home.
