Eric Gumbo’s funeral & memorial service

With heavy hearts, we must report that on June 7th, 2021, Eric Gumbo's life abruptly ended. Eric was a beloved son, friend, brother, and a very loving and committed father to Marcus. Eric was a gentle, brilliant, and charismatic soul who would always stick to his word. Everyone could depend on him, and above all he was the most caring person one could ever hope to meet. His laughter could light up any room, and his encyclopedic knowledge of history and world events brought insight to any discussion.

If you were lucky enough to have crossed paths with Eric, you would have known that he was THAT person who would go out of his way to make you comfortable; who would support and help in every possible way. He has left a legacy like no other and we are all better to have known him.

No time to say good bye

You were gone before we knew it

God knows why.
