Erich Jr. and Dominic Martinez Memorial Education Fund - In Honor of Erich Joseph Martinez
Erich Martinez, beloved father, brother, son, and friend – passed away on November 18 after a very hard-fought battle with cancer.
Erich was a single father who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer 5 ½ years ago. Erich went through every conceivable treatment modality, as well as multiple drug trials, all in an effort to extend his life to be there for his two young sons, Erich Jr. (15) and Dominick (11), as well as his adult son, Quinn (26).
Erich’s greatest wish was to see his sons graduate college. On May 26, 2017, Erich posted the following:
“Feeling blessed. In August 2012 I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Head and neck cancer. My odds of survival were about 5%. I prayed that I would get to see my sons graduate college. Today I'm blessed to see my son Erich graduate 8th grade and next start his high school journey. I am so proud of him.”
The funds raised in this campaign will go into a trust for Dominick’s and Erich Jr’s education and educational support to help them realize their college dreams.
