Donations will go towards his medical costs as well as ongoing bills. He might not be able to jump back into work as a chef so will need our support!
Around 1:30 AM on December 31st, Eric collapsed from a cardiac arrest as he was finishing up work at Mister Jiu’s. His coworker performed CPR and paramedics arrived shortly thereafter to resuscitate him. He is receiving care at California Pacific Medical Center, and thankfully his vitals are stable.
Other ways to help
If you’re a restaurant or individual who wants to send food to Eric and his family, please contact Nicole Dobarro, who is organizing the meal train. Daily breakfast, lunch and dinner drop-offs (as well as coffee) would be appreciated the next few weeks.
