Benefit for Erica Skoglund

Erica Skoglund has been gracing stages & delighting the community of the Seacoast with her joy and her humor for years. During the day she and her puppets work in schools. She works with Haven in support of domestic violence and sexual assault victims and their families.  She volunteers for multiple community organizations.  She balances all of those things while raising 2 children, with a puppet on one arm, her husband on the other, all while wearing a stylish vintage dress.

Erica was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and lung cancer and had a bilateral Mastectomy, and soon will be having an additional surgery to remove the upper left lobe of her lung to remove the tumor. She is a non-smoker, and found out after her diagnosis that her grandmother also had breast cancer and lung cancer as a non-smoker at the same age. So far they don't think chemo or radiation will be helpful but they will know for sure after the surgery in a few weeks.

So us- her friends, coworkers, fellow artists and all who love her are coming together on Wednesday, August 9th at 8pm to put on a concert to raise money for Erica in her time of need.

We're also collecting money here, and sending everything her way.

Erica Skoglund has given so much to our community, and we’d love to fill the house to show her as much love and support as she has shown all of us.  Let’s come together and make it a wonderful night.  Whether you can give monetarily or not, here or at the door, come and share some love at what is bound to be an evening to remember!
