Erica was born on Febraury 20, 1979 fighting to stay in this world. Unfornately, her unbelica cord was wrapped tightly around her neck, but she was determined to live the beuatiful life she lived. She was the second born to Mary Dimond and Robert Delgado. She was brought up with her older sister Connie Delgado and youngest sister Cheree Delgado. The strong, spirited woman we all know and love earned her the nickname "Jumpa" as a baby. Excitedly in her johnny jump-up she would rambunctiously jump with all her might. Growing up she was famously known as "Wonder Woman". In true Jumpa spirit, Erica would jump off our furniture in her Wonder Woman wonderoos and yell at the top of her lungs WONDER WOMAN!!! Nothing could stop her, she was the strongest person we knew.
Most recently, she lived in California City with her husband Raul Alamillo and her two beautiful children Anthony (16)and Angel (10).
She was initially diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2012. Which of course devasted all of us. We knew if anyone could fight this she could. She was cancer free for 4 years, until she starting having abdominal pain in March 2017. A CT scan showed that the cancer had came back. She started chemotherapy right away and we knew this was going to be another success story. Christmas day she started to become weak and was in more pain then ever before. She was scheduled for a treament on the 27th, but was admitted to the hospital instead. We were informed her cancer had spread to her liver and told that there was nothing more that could be done. We all came together and had the last moments with her together as a family. God took her in his arms the night of January 3, 2018.
