Erica Bashkin’s Medical Expenses

The day after her 42nd Birthday, my sister-in-law, Erica, went to Dunkin Donuts to pick up donuts for her kids’ class and got into a terrible car accident. When the first responders arrived, they didn’t think she would make it. They took her the closest trauma center and performed emergency surgery. She broke her nose, sturnum, and 12 ribs. Her ribs punctured her diagphragm, her lung, and she had anlacerated spleen and liver. Miraculously they were able to remove her spleen, fix her liver and the next day repair her broken ribs. It will be a very long and painful recovery. They have 2 young chirldren and will need all the help they can get to pay for all of the medical expenses.
