Eric's Recovery

I am Eric's sister and setting this campaign up to help with any expenses; from medical bills to getting his bills paid. He is not going to be able to work for quite some time. As most of you know, Eric was in a car accident April 5th.  He suffered a brain stem injury, he had some swelling and bleeding. He had a broken hip and pelvis, along with hand and ankle. April 6th we were told by the doctor there was nothing they could do and we were going to lose him. Eric has proved him wrong. Thank God! Friday evening he was wiggling his toes, giving a thumbs up and opening his eyes when commanded by the nurses.  Over the next several days he continued the upward climb.  His angiogram came back great! There is not a bleed at this time. He was doing so well that on April 9th, he had hip and pelvis surgery.   He is making great progress everyday.  One week after his accident he was removed from the breathing machine and breathing on his own.  April 13th he is scheduled for his hand and ankle surgery.  He will need some months of rehab after all the surgeries and his paperwork was sent to Mary Free Bed. Our family greatly appreciates all the love, support, and prayers you all have given!  The nurses call him the miracle of the floor! Such a great staff at Bronson!!!!
