Eric Stoakes Hospital and Funeral B

As everyone knows, Eric Stoakes was a wonderful person and great friend who was always there when you needed him. I met Eric about 25 years ago when I started working at Kids Magazine. The minute I looked at Eric I knew he was creative, fun-loving and stood out. Over the years, we worked together on numerous events for charities. He never failed to be there and give 100%. I always knew I could count on him and he never disappointed.

Eric went into the hospital a month ago. He had caught a cold and just couldn't shake it. He woke up one day and couldn't breathe. He called 911 and his phone died during the call. The amazing 911 operators tracked him down and they took him to Clarkson Hospital. During that month Eric endured being on a ventilator, numerous tests, a tracheotemy, numerous rounds of antibiotics and more. Despite the doctor's many attempts, Eric's body had simply had enough. 

After sitting with his amazing family the night before he passed, I realized they would need help with burial and medical expenses. I am putting this request for assistance for his mother and full permission from his family. If you can not donate, please send prayers to help get them through this difficult time.
