Eric Needs his Family by his Side
Donation protected
Eric, who is 45 years old, and his family, from Youngstown Ohio, have had an extremely difficult 3 1/2 years. Since his brittle diabetes and neuropathy eventually made it impossible for him to continue working, they have struggled with trying to provide food, shelter, utilities and healthcare, sometimes even going without heat and electric. In spite of all of this, they have remained a strong, close family. In the past three months, Eric’s health has rapidly deteriorated and he has been hospitalized many times in extremely serious condition. Eric has suffered two heart attacks, sepsis, blood clots and pneumonia along with having three stents placed since the end of February. On Wednesday night April 4, 2018 his health deteriorated to the point where he was “life flighted” to Allegheny medical center in Pittsburgh in life support. Allegheny medical center is quite a distance from his home in Ohio. His wife and four children spent last night in the waiting room because the cost of lodging, food, and gas for all of them is more than they can afford. As a family we are doing everything we can to support them
but we are still reeling financially and emotionally from the unexpected passing of our father on March 2, 2018.
Having his family at his side for support is part of the miracle we are praying for. Eric‘s condition is critical at this time and having his wife and children there could make all the difference as well as buying time for the team of doctors to find a way to repair or replace his broken heart.
Please consider helping them with a contribution. Any small amount can help. I just delivered the eulogy at my father‘s funeral 4 weeks ago, I will do whatever it takes to not deliver my baby brothers eulogy. I know that God works miracles every day and with your help we can wrap this family in love and support so they know they are not alone and will not have to continue to worry about how they will eat and where they will sleep every night. The road to recovery is going to be long but with God’s grace and your help we can make it happen.
