Eric Hanson: Level IV Glioblastoma -Brain Cancer

We have set up this GoFundMe as a supplement to the CaringBridge site.

We are often asked what we need. Below is a list of ways you can help us through this time:

1) Pray - We believe in the power of prayer and will take every prayer we can get. Please pray we continue to get clear guidance on the best course of treatment, that Eric's tumor shrinks, he regains some of his lost mobility and that we find a clinical trial or a medication that will cure him or significantly extend his life expectancy.

2) Company - Eric enjoys company. It helps break up the day. Late afternoons and early evenings work best and we ask that you text/reach out before coming over so we can manage his energy level. But seeing friendly faces is good for his spirits.

3) Recipes - We do not need food delivery. However, because we have switched to a Keto diet, we would love links to your favorite recipes. This is all new to us and if you have experience with Keto, finding tried and true winners is a blessing.

4) Financial support - We have good health insurance so this isn't going to break us financially. However, we do have a $7,000 deductible which we will have to pay for 2021 and 2022 for a total of $14,000. There are also additional costs that are not covered by insurance such as supplements, home health equipment, and potentially travel costs if we find an out-of-state clinical trial.
