On Saturday morning, April 28, 2018, Mr. Eric L. Dalton, one of the greatest men that I and countless others have ever had the privilege of knowing, tragically lost his life when his motorcycle collided with an SUV that suddenly and unexpectedly entered the highway.
Eric was only 46 years old and just like any other day, he was simply on his way to work that morning. The driver of the SUV, who survived but with serious injuries, was leaving the cemetery where he had very recently laid his father to rest.
This has been a horrific tragedy for all parties involved but especially for Eric's devoted wife and best friend, Mrs. Danielle Odom Dalton, and his beautiful, sweet daughter, Erica, who is only 7 years old.
We would like to ease the financial burden that has come from losing this amazing man so suddenly. Although insurance will cover Eric’s funeral and burial expenses, there are unexpected legal costs in securing Miss Erica, as Eric had primary physical and legal custody of her which is an urgent matter that cannot wait until other funding can become available. Eric adored his daughter and would only want for her to continue with the life he was building for her. Any donation, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated.
