Eric and Faith Johnson Tornado Relief
Eric and Faith Johnson were of the several families to be affected by the tornadoes in Middle Tennessee. They have lost EVERYTHING except each other. Below is the first thing that I saw Eric post. It was the first thing to get my attention. I knew then that something had to be done.
“As I lay here tonight with tears in my eyes and look at my beautiful wife sleep with our children I am so truly blessed god spared me and my family’s lives yesterday morning. We survived because it just wasn’t simply our time yet. At 1:15 yesterday morning my dog woke us up going completely insane and she never does that, so I wake up turn the tv on and see Nashville got hit hard by a tornado and the storm was headed towards cookeville, for some reason I got up and stayed awake something just didn’t feel right. I told my wife to just rest I’m going to stay up until the storm passes by just to be safe. Well as the storm approached the Baxter area out by echo valley I knew something was not right I grabbed my children and wife put them in the tub ran across our house to try to get my dog and I had to turn around and run to my wife and kids because I could hear the tornado on the ground destroying homes I get to the tub literally dive on top of my wife and children and as soon as I do the house exploded and jerked me out of my wife’s arms and threw me across our back yard . I was thinking this was it for me but please god spare my wife and children there lives don’t take them please the whole time I was praying that and all of a sudden I wake up on my knees in my back yard stand up feel blood pouring from my head so take my shirt off and tie it around my head to stop the bleeding and start screaming for my wife and kids I heard my wife’s sweet voice say eric we are right here, I turn around and look and my wife is sitting holding both of our children on top of the bath tub that is snapped completely in half. We are truly walking miracles I have 9 staples in my head wife has broken ribs and our babies have scratches here and there but nothing major. Thank you so much to everyone that has reached out to us we are truly blessed and so very thankful. we are truly walking miracles.The last picture I just posted I just took of my beautiful wife and children safe and sound. Thank you lord Jesus for giving my wife the strength to hold onto our beautiful babies. So I hope that anyone that reads this knows that it’s only by an amazing god we serve that me and my family are breathing at this very moment. So if you are mad or angry with someone or have any sort of issues with anyone you know, just let it go and call or text that person and make things better because it a second your life could be over. Hold your wife your husband your children and loved ones a little tighter from this very moment on, I know I’m going to. And last but not least but most important make your life right with the lord Jesus Christ.
