Eric & Munday ❤ Medical Bills Fund

Our lives got turned upside down starting June 8th, my dear husband was admitted to the hospital for complicated pneumonia with empyema. Due to the severity of his condition, we were transferred by ambulance to Lahey Clinic in Massachusetts for better management of his care, in the 10 days we were there (I stayed there as well on a cot in the corner of his room)  he underwent a thoracotomy to remove all the infected and loculated fluid from his lung and chest cavity. Unfortunately, there was also an 8 cm mass in his lung that was removed, a portion of his lung was removed as well as two lymph nodes. Once Eric was well enough, we were sent home with him needing daily IV antibiotics to fight the bacteria still present in his lungs.  I learned how to infuse his meds through the IV and took continuous care of his surgical incisions. He is recuperating very well from that.  Fast forward to June 29th and we were given the most devastating news yet.  My best friend in the whole world has been diagnosed with Synovial Sarcoma of the lung and Metastatic Synovial Sarcoma in his lymph nodes. Synovial Sarcoma is a extremely rare form of cancer and we do not know what our future holds. 
We have already been through hell and I know this journey has only just begun.  We of course could never have imagined this could happen and certainly did not plan for it.  With bruised pride and a broken heart we are asking for help to cover the medical bills that have already started to pile up and to help cover my income lost by staying by his side during the hospital stay as well as needing to be with him now and for his ongoing care whatever that may be.  Mine is the only income in our household right now, I am working as much as I can but this hit us hard and it's only just begun.
