Amsterdam Marathon for Ted

On 10th February 2018, one of my best friends tragically took his own life. As young twenty something males, the greatest risk to our lives is our own mental health. We are more likely to die from our own hand than cancer, road accidents or heart disease. The public therefore, in my mind, needs to offer as much support and funding to the threat of mental illness as to the issues of physical illness and road safety.

These past couple of months have been the hardest of my life, and I have no doubt this will always be the hardest time of my life. However, we can only try and channel this into something positive for someone else out there. On 21st October, a large group of Ted’s friends will be running the Amsterdam marathon in aid of the Ted Foundation, set up by his brother Max to try and prevent similar tragedies occurring to people in he future.

Please donate generously, every penny counts towards this incredibly important cause. Donate for Ted, the most delightful and charming young man you’d ever be likely to meet, and for his family, who are true testament to the wonderful man he was and who have suffered so deeply through this.
