Wife has died of COVID, Husband and 6yo homeless

The last several years have been hard. Even in that time, we never thought we'd create a gofundme. And so, I'm not sure what to write, but here we go.

We've done everything we can to recover, but it has been one thing after another. Miscarriage and a totaled car (within 24 hours of each other), job loss, ER visit after ER visit, and more. I've spent the last several years going to the ER and doctors hoping someone would figure out why I felt so awful. In that time, I have been blown off repeatedly. It's been so bad, I had to see a cardiologist. He also blew me off. I FINALLY have a diagnosis of Hashimoto's after thousands of dollars in medical bills. With that comes a very strict diet that can increase food costs. Now, Bill has been diagnosed with a gallstone and they are recommending that he have his gallbladder removed. They have also found a cyst or lesion on his kidney that could be nothing, could be cancer. And so, we incurr more medical bills since they want to do a CAT Scan and other testing. I'm also supposed to be having testing done for a potential hernia. And, I broke a tooth. It's been fun lol.

On top of this, Bill has a job opportunity in Tennessee which also means additional expenses. While we have a little savings, we don't have much. All these medical bills have made it hard to save.

For August, we will have to pay our current rent and the cost of a place for Bill to stay. since he will go ahead of us. Plus, the additional cost of renting a moving truck, deposits and more. It's also Celia's sixth birthday and while there won't be anything crazy, we will have the expense of a small party. The opportunity to move takes us to a lower cost of living city which means we have more opportunity to get back on our feet. It also hopefully takes us to a place where we are not dealing with mice and slugs in our house. Yes, I said slugs...ugh. Around here there is very little available to rent that would not leave us house poor. Chattanooga offers more housing opportunities.
