The Stay Sexy Social

Did you know that there are over 10,000 untested rape kits sitting on shelves in Georgia? Yes, due to the current backlog, many victims of rape are still waiting to know who their attacker is. Moreover, without DNA profiles in CODIS, these criminals are not being apprehended. The lack of apprehension lends itself to the possibility that one-time offenders can and have escalated to serial rape, murder and serial murder, all the while going completely undetected.

What can we do about it?

We are hosting a fundraiser in November to raise money and awareness for End the Backlog, a program of The Joyful Heart Foundation.

As passionate fans of the hit true crime comedy podcast My Favorite Murder, known as “Murderinos”, we have decided to host an event to benefit a non-profit organization that dedicates their time and services to helping victims of abuse.

The Stay Sexy Social will have great local music, a fabulous silent auction, and true crime related merchandise for sale.

100% of the profits will go directly to End the Backlog.

We believe that victims of abuse of all kinds need piece of mind, support, and protection. By coming together as community, we can help promote a shift in attitudes toward abuse and create change.
