top surgery :(

Hello! For anyone who comes across this and doesn't know me, my name is Max. I'm AFAB (Assigned Female at Birth) I came out to my mom, dad, and sister as transgender when I was 14, almost 6 years ago now. Since then, I've been on testosterone since 2017 and my next step is.. you guessed it, top surgery! Last year, I went for a consultation in Birmingham with a doctor I ended up really liking. Unfortunately, Blue Cross Blue Shield ended up denying my claim and now if I ever get top surgery, it will have to be out of pocket. I am in my second year of college and (as most college students are) I am BROKE. I have some money in savings, but definitely not enough to cover the procedure entirely. I'm so grateful for how far I've gotten in my journey already, but all i really want is to be able to look in the mirror and see the person i've seen in my brain for so long already. I genuinely don't care what you can give, even if it's just a share. THANK YOU!!! <3
