Epithelioid Sarcoma Surgery and Treatment

Hello everyone,

Never could imagined to have such an urge to collect funds to save life of someone very close to me, my below friend, my soul, Alexandra Chepa (Gulchiy), who was diagnosed with Epithelioid Sarcoma (3G) on November 19, 2020. Epithelioid Sarcoma is a very rare kind of cancer. 

She got her first symptoms, pain in an arm, back in 2011 but, unfortunately, doctors ignored it, as no one in a city of Ivano Frankivsk, Ukraine, could distinguish a soft tissue cancer. Few months ago Alexandra noticed her shoulder has enlarged and went to see traumatologist in Kiev, capital of Ukraine. MRI has shown 10 cm large tumor in soft tissues; however doctor was sure it was likely a benign, the one that is not cancerous, as soft tissues cancer is very rare type of cancer. They have done a surgery, biopsy, took a tissue sample to examine it more closely.
In few days doctor called Alexandra with the results  - Epithelioid Sarcoma 3G, and she requires further examination and urgent medical treatment. Alexandra, who is a single mother of 5 years old boy, her friends and family are in a complete shock. In our last phone conversation she said she is not going to die because she will not leave her child without a mother. 

Unfortunately, December 10, 2020 diagnose has been confirmed, and it is likely the tumor needs to be removed prior to undergoing chemotherapy. In this state of COVID, it is very hard to even get an examination and all further treatments seems to be even more unreachable. 
The purpose of this post is to raise money and support this young lady in her upcoming fight for her life.
