Charcoal Machine to Empower Women and Save Trees.

In an effort to make real and sustainable change Moyaa wishes to help with the conservation efforts in Uganda by protecting the Shea Trees from being cut down for quick cash to make charcoal. By providing machinery and training this project will provide much needed income for 30 women and help to protect trees. It’s cleaner burn will be better for the environment. Other costs associated with the project include transporting the machine to the village, training the users and set up. Our goal is to have the benefactors use some of their profits from the selling of their charcoal to fund a second machine for another community and so on providing a pay it forward movement that breaks the cycle of dependency. Together we can change the lives of families and protect our precious environment. Thank you for contributing.
