ENT Cancer fund SIVUH in memory of Mary O’Leary

Hi everyone,

Mom recently passed away from a very rare cancer. Since her diagnosis, she had been under the exemplary care of Professor Sheehan and the ENT cancer team in SIVUH. In her final 3 weeks, the care she received from all the staff in Level 2 Victoria Ward was 2nd to none.

Less than 12 months ago, Mom ran the Killarney half marathon followed by the 10k in the cork city marathon a few weeks later. This year, as a family, we are going to complete the Cork city half marathon and 10k on 2nd of June in her honour. We are aiming to raise funds for the Ear Nose and Throat Cancer fund in SIVUH as part of our actions. Any small donation goes a long way towards the fight against cancer and the effect it has on families and loved ones, so any support would be more than appreciated.
