Help Auntie Jayne raise money to provide a safe space for rescue dogs and all doggies in her care in Milton Keynes.
Jayne Coleman, aka Auntie Jayne, from Milton Keynes, in Buckinghamshire fulfilled her dream of setting up her own business, Waggin & Walkin eight years ago.
Former dog groomer Jayne, created Waggin & Walkin with one goal in mind, to provide the finest possible care to dogs, cats and all small animals as being a pet owner herself, she knows how hard it is to entrust the responsibility of your animal to someone else.
Jayne is not just a dog walker, she is a best friend to the animals in her care and brings them happiness, joy, fun and love the whole day through. She has always gone the extra mile for the dogs in her care.
Over the years there have been some tough times, but knowing that the dogs are there each day for their daily walks has pulled her through. Just having them around brings a smile to Jayne's face.
No one could have foreseen the devastation that Covid-19 would bring and the pandemic has affected Waggin and Walkin greatly, but Jayne and her amazing team have the fight to carry on and are looking to the future to grow again, no matter how long it takes.
When the vaccine arrived the team could once again see hope for the future and thought that maybe one day things would be great again. But just when everyone thought the worst was over, the news came that the one only safe open place in which Jayne and all the aunties walk the doggies off lead was being taken to build a new housing development.
More devastating news was to follow when Jayne found out that her mother was at the end of her life and she did not get the chance to be able to say goodbye due to Covid-19 outbreaks in the care home she was in.
Jayne has received lots of love and support from people and her doggie friends and she promised her Mum that she would carry on no matter what, never giving up on her dream of walking the dogs and enriching their lives and the lives of their owners.
Jayne has done the animals and her team proud and has found the perfect three acre field where the dogs will be able to run around and play off lead again, safe and together with all of their friends to have fun. Jayne would like to use the new enclosed field to give something back and help rescue dogs play off lead as well, some maybe for the first time.
Jayne has dug deep to use what savings she had left but it is not enough. The team need just a little more help to raise the rest of the funds so that they are able to put up a six foot fence which will make the space safe and secure for the dogs to play in happily.
If you would like to help in anyway possible it would be greatly appreciated by all of the team and the doggies, even a share of their story would go some way to helping.
