Connie’s road to recovery

Donation protected
Dear friends and family,

As many of you know, or are now learning, on August 30, 2018, in Edmonton, Alberta, Connie was in a very bad accident. As she was walking to work, she was hit by a vehicle. Since then Connie has been in the ICU. As a result of the accident Connie has had numerous surgeries, including to repair a torn Aorta. She also suffers from a broken pelvis as well as other injuries. Unfortunately due to extensive muscle damage and blood clots, on September 10, Connie had to have her right leg amputated.

Connie is a widow, and has a long road of recovery ahead of her. Because of her losing her leg, she will need extensive physical therapy, as well as learning to adapt to her new way of life, once she is able to return home. Connie lives with her 2 daughters, and her grandson, and because of this accident the house will need extensive renovations to make it easier for Connie to adapt when she returns home. It will be a long time until she is able to return to work, so I am asking for help to make this transition for Connie and her family as easy as possible.

I, and the family, would be immensely grateful for ANY contribution you feel called to give. Even a share on your facebook page! Please keep the Jenkins family in your thoughts and prayers.
