England Amputee Football

As many of you know, I had a horrific car crash 16 years ago, that led to me having an amputation of my left leg above the knee.

In the last 2/3 year, I had put on weight and ballooned up to 15 stone 5. I decided to look at what team activities were available and I decided to join an amputee football team. The team was Newcastle United Amputees, this decision has been life changing. I’ve lost a lot of weight, I’ve made friends and travelled to Germany and many other areas competing against the best of the best.

After playing a tournament in Nantwhich I have been scouted for the England National Nxtgen team, this is a proud accomplishment, as you can imagine. There comes a cost to playing and I’m looking for friends, family, colleagues to donate and  sponsor me. I’m looking to raise £750 which will be used towards kit, equipment, training facilities and much more. If I am lucky enough to supersede the amount, it will go towards future trips and equipment..

Hopefully I can raise the funds needed and also raise more awareness around Amputee football and my progress. Anything is appreciated, however little.
