Newlywed and in the ICU

My little sister Erika has debilitating epilepsy. Every day she is challenged with juggling an attempt at a normal life with safety. She cannot cook in the kitchen, go upstairs, or take a shower without the fear of injury requiring her to wear a “hat-met” (helmet within a hat ). Even though she has experienced such struggles and even surmounted brain surgery, a Vagus Nerve Stimulator Implant, and countless procedures and medication changes, she was not robbed of the opportunity to fall in love with a wonderful man who sees her for the beautiful and kind woman she truly is. They got engaged and planned to get married in the Cayman Islands this week. Their dream beach wedding turned into a nightmare. On Friday, November 17th, Erika fell on her head after a seizure. She was rushed to City Health Emergency Room, Cayman Islands. She suffered a traumatic brain injury resulting in skull fractures and a brain hemorrhage, and is currently in the ICU. The outcome is still unclear. So far she has been responsible to pay $6500 cash each day everyday before she can receive further treatment for survival - an obvious impossibility for someone who lives solely on disability as her condition prevents her from being able to work. Please help us assist with these bills so that she can get the care she needs and ultimately be discharged home to the USA without an insurmountable financial burden. Her condition is still critical.
