End of life fundraiser for Raven Salander
An end of life dream trip to Berlin for a badass transwomen poet, sex worker activist and beloved community member.

This fundraiser is seeking funds to support an end of life trip for Raven Salander, a transwomen, poet, community worker, sex worker activist and beloved community member. She has spent much time supporting others, and it’s our turn to do this for her.
After many years of complex health challenges, she has been accepted through the MAID (medical assistance in dying) program. Coming to end of life with MAID, which offers her reassurance and dignity, is guessed to happen within 6-10 months..
Berlin is a city she has always wanted to see and she would be thrilled to have achieved this! This fundraiser also covers costs for Raven's close friend who will be assisting with her access needs and care throughout the trip. Raven is on a fixed income and the hope for this fundraiser is to cover all costs for this trip for both of them. This includes passport renewal, airfare, accommodations, activities and food. The plan for this trip is based on her currently having enough capacity and ability to travel. If anything changes, these funds will pay for any needs and wants that come up for her at home in the coming months.
Sharon Milewski (Pink) will not be going on this trip but is accepting these funds to be passed along to Raven. If you’re not able to donate through this Go Fund me, please contact Raven or Sharon through social media to arrange canadian e-transfer.
The budget is estimated at just under $10, 000 for a 14 day trip. As shared above, plans may change without notice due to health needs. There may or may not be updates shared here.
The hope is that the community can pool together resources to make this happen. Truly any amount is appreciated.
