End of Life costs for Hugo de Leon

Donation protected
My name is Luisa. My Dad passed away 2 days ago, on Labor Day 2022, after more than a year long battle with Lung Cancer. It will be wrong to say that Hugo lost his battle because he never stopped fighting. No matter how ill he became, he was always determined.
He is in a better place and no longer suffering. May he Rest In Peace.
It was shocking to see the strongest man I have ever met, being transformed from a vivacious, sharped-tongued, and hard working to a lethargic, stick-thin and vulnerable shadow of his former self.
During this long and arduous year, as his only child, I was his primary care taker. I had to take time off from work to do my best to make his last months as less of a hell on earth as I could. The fact that he was hospitalized more than 10 times, sure did not help my income.
There are already significant costs for his year of Cancer treatments and end-of-life care.
Although I am usually not one to ask for anything, I am reaching out for financial support for myself and my family in this difficult time.
His passing is already such a heavy weight on us all.
I hope that by asking for support, I can help lessen at least the financial burden of losing my Dad.
Thank you all for your love, prayers and contributions. Your generosity is deeply appreciated.
