End Mental Health Stigma Through Storytelling

Every culture across time has told stories. Stories exist to pass on survival information, build understanding, and create connection.

 

At The Stability Network, we believe in the power of stories to help others not only survive while living with a mental health condition but to thrive with one.

 

But what happens when some stories aren’t told?

 

Stigma grows when stories are silenced. That’s why our global movement of Stability Leaders— advocates living and working with mental health conditions—are using storytelling to end mental health stigma.

 

Every time one of our Stability Leaders shares their story at a company, conference, or community center, they pass on survival information and inspire others to thrive.

 

We now have nearly 300 Stability Leaders in 190 cities and 15 countries! We won’t stop until we have a Stability Leader in every postal code around the globe, so that everyone can have an example in their community to turn to for inspiration and hope.
